Future of academy was established soon after the launch of the worlds most expensive black diamond dress.
The thought process behind it was to give something back to the fashionista's of the future. Wingham herself needed a creative outlet growing up been dyslexic meant creativity was where she excelled and let's face it we all need to feel that sense of achievement specifically if we struggle in other environments.
The first objective of the academy is creativity soon followed by confidence building. Allowing youths to develop skills that they will benefit from in their adult life.
The academy isn't just for budding designers many of our pupils use the workshops as creative outlets to relax.
So far Future of Fashion as put above 5000 kids in fashion week where they not only model outfits they have designed and created themselves and they get to showcase it to the fashion glitterati along with friends and family. These workshops are aimed at age 7-16.
Lately FOF as been offering designer experience packages suited to fashion students, whether at college, university or with a brand in infancy, this is basically more of a one stop shop where emerging designers get to use the experience as a platform to showcase their own label and mingle with top stylist, buyers etc
